WHAT MANNER OF LOVE

Topic: WHAT MANNER OF LOVE 

Text: John 11:33-36
33 - When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,
34 - And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.
35 - Jesus wept.
36 - Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!

There are times when we struggle to find the right word to explain or describe certain things. One of such things is the love Christ has for us. Yes, we might have read about it or heard about it, but it's so deep that we can't even understand how much deeper or how wide his love is. However, knowing and being certain of his love towards us should change our relationship with the Lord and draw us closer to him because of the magnitude of his love.

One of the fascinating stories in the Scripture for me is the relationship between Jesus and the house of Martha. When their brother died, and Jesus appeared there and saw how Mary was crying, the Bible says Jesus groaned in his spirit, and he was troubled. The other place where Jesus was said to have groaned in his spirit was when he was praying in the Garden of Gethsemane. He then cried, and the Bible described that the people around him could read through those tears, genuine love. 

The scriptures say that Christ can be touched with our infirmities. He's so much in love with you, he's touched with your struggles with sin, struggles with life and all. And you can't imagine how much he desires that you see him in that lens, so you can embrace his love and the help he's sending your way. You're not alone, you can't be stranded, and he can never be late. If you understand his love for your life, you will know that he's with you all the way, he's making a way for you, and whenever he arrives, he will always be on time.

It's natural when people work and live together to have offences, and it's going to happen so many times, to live and enjoy our relationship, we must learn to let go of offenses no matter how extremely bad it may be.
