RELAX, GOD IS WORKING
Text: Isaiah 55:8–9
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Sometimes when we are waiting on God for an intervention, we are always trying to prove that we know God so much that we will predict how He will come, when He comes, and from whom He will come. This sometimes is based on our previous experiences with God, and at that point we miss out on it.
However, when our expectations are not forthcoming, we tend to worry, disturb ourselves and then get anxious about the situation and then get a nudge that God might not be coming again. This is often how we miss out on God's intervention.
GOD IS WORKING EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND
What we fail to understand is that God isn't like a man; He's not that simple that He can be predicted, and He's not that complicated that we can get confused about Him; He's simply mysterious.
The anchor Scripture was from God, and in here, God is saying His thoughts are not our thoughts, nor His ways our ways, and I love how He compared His ways with ours.
God said, as heaven is higher than the earth, so also His thoughts and ways are higher than ours.
Let's discuss that so we can understand what God is saying.
Scientifically, the average distance between the Earth and the Sun is 149.6 million kilometres (93 million miles), and heaven isn't even a physical place, so you can imagine the distance God is explaining to us.
RELAX, GOD IS WORKING
If that is what God is saying, it means God is working; God is not going to give up on you.
You're the one who thought that God isn't coming because He has not fit into your agenda and the way God should come.
Can you trust God?
Relax, praise Him even as you wait for His intervention; He will come in a manner you least expect.
You can't box Him into a corner; His ways are not your ways, and His thoughts are not your thoughts.
He's got a better plan, timing and a better solution for you.
Just trust God! He's working on your behalf!
PRAYER
Father, I'm sorry for limiting You in my thoughts and expectations. Now I'll trust You because I know You can never fail me. I won't struggle with Your thoughts and ways anymore. Help me to remain steadfast in Jesus' name.

Can you trust God even when His intervention doesn't come the way you expected?
