Topic: DO NOT FEAR
Text: Psalm 53: 4-5
4 - Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
5 - There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
One of my best prayers in the scriptures was the prayer Apostle Paul prayed in Ephesians 1:18, which says
"The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints"
Because many times the struggles and battles we face are not necessary, only if we know that the Lord has fought for us.
The Lord, speaking through David in the scriptures above, gives a description of his people who are in great fear because they feel there are enemies and they will beat them like men eat meat; however, the correct situation was that the Lord had already won for them. So he says they were in great fear when there was no fear.
When God is working to fulfil his will, he will intentionally permit events that will bring his will to pass, so whatever you're going through as God's child, be assured that God knows about it, he might not have planned it but he permitted it, and he's making it work together to bring about the fulfilment of his will. So why are you scared of what God is aware of and in control of? Instead of fear, put your trust in the Lord, rely on him, and you will see the manifestation of his will.
FEAR NOT, GOD IS IN CONTROL.
