DAILY DIVINE WORD 7TH MAY 2021

Friday 7th May 2021

TOPIC: AND GOD SAID

TEXT: Gen.1.3 - 
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

The sovereignty of God remains valid and effective, it doesn't change just like God has never and will ever change. The moment He decides to do a thing, He moves to do such thing, with or without our permission or agreement, after all, He's God overall. And we should also understand that His words carry his authority, so once He moves, He does so with his words. Once he speaks, it is done!

The scripture above clearly shows how unhindered God's word is, the moment he said it, that same moment it happens. The light was needed first for the recreation of the earth, and then God spoke and immediately, there was light. Once God makes a declaration about issues, lives, or circumstances, it becomes an order that will happen just immediately. The efficacy of God's sayings aligns with his plans per time and give expression to his sovereignty.

We have the licence to pray and the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much, when we pray according to God's will, God's words comes to play and things begin to happen immediately, however, the sovereignty of God shows how unshakable God is, and his words or sayings becomes the final verdict over all things. While God is interested in your life, remember his will supersedes your desire and will, and he will override that to speak into existence his will irrespective of your agreement. When God speaks, it binds!

THINK TANK: When you are submitting to God's will, remember that you are submitting also to his sovereignty!

PRAYER: Father, help me to understand that you supersede my will and desire and help me to always trust your judgement over my life in Jesus Name.
