DAILY DIVINE WORD 8TH MAY 2021

TOPIC: GOD HONOURS THE SAINTS

TEXT: Ps.149.6-9:
6 - Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
7 - To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8 - To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 - To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

Sometimes it seems we're in this world as God's children as if we have no dignity, we are mocked, spite scorned. Every day we are challenged to prove the existence of our God, even at the numerous signs and wonders that abound, we walk around resisting the urge to join trends, we closed our eyes to the earthen fashion's lifestyle. Sometimes, just like Paul we are challenged to ask God why our weaknesses aren't taken care of, but God kept saying, "just rely on me, in your weakness, I'm your strength". So, where is our honour?

The hope that keeps us going or moving is the fact that there is a life far better than this after here, the truth that when we behold him face to face, we will become like him and the expectations that there's going to be a judgement of the earthen and rewards for the saints at the last day. The Bible in the scripture above calls this "honour of the saints".

Be quickened, be encouraged, be strengthened, because the King of Zion honours and will honour you. Live your life with this understanding, walk around knowing the quality of honour you carry, relate with people as someone who knows the truth about his present life and the one to come. There's judgement coming soon and there are rewards thereafter. We're not a waste, our rejection here will turn to honour very soon. Hang on! Your father honours you!

THINK TANK: Be purified in your mind through the hope of eternity.

PRAYER: Father, help me to keep this hope alive until you return in Jesus Name.

IT'S ALREADY PREPARED

DAILY DIVINE WORD  (A Sunset Devotional) 26th July, 2025 THEME : It's Prepared Already. SCRIPTURAL REFERENCE : Mark 14: 12-15: 12 - Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, "Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?" 13 - And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, "Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him. 14 - Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, "The Teacher says, "Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?"' 15 - Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us." If a man knows what has been prepared for him and when exactly it will come to him, maybe we would worry less, maybe we won't even be anxious over anything as the scripture advised us. But, the mystery about life and about walking with...

DAILY DIVINE WORD 5TH MAY 2021

Wednesday, 5th May 2021 TOPIC : ACCESS TO THE HILL TEXT : Ps.24.3-5: 3. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. RECENTLY there was a post by someone on social media who claimed that at the RCCG Redemption Camp, she left her reading glass on the altar believing God for miracles, and according to her she came back the following day to pick up her glasses and she will never believe anything again. This is a sad reality, that our young minds are looking for God's hands when we should focus on God's face. However, everyone desire to stand at the hills of God, everyone wants to stand at his Holy place because they understand that is where his blessings reside. But the question that has been asked for ages is "Who shall ...

DAILY DIVINE WORD 26TH JANUARY 2021

TOPIC: GUARD YOUR FREEDOM. TEXT:  1Cor.8.9 - But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. 1Cor.8.10 - For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; 1Cor.8.11 - And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? 1Cor.8.12 - But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. 1Cor.8.13 - Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend. TRUTHFULLY  Christ came to deliver freedom to us, Christ's freedom is also freedom indeed because He says "if the son shall set you free, you shall be free indeed." He has given us freedom from traditions, laws, old practices, superstitions, tales, and the likes. So we have liberty in J...
