TOPIC: DEFEAT YOUR FEAR

TEXT: 
2Kgs.6.16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. (KJV)

FEAR is a natural occurrence and it's because a person could not properly respond to a challenge facing him or her as a result of terrible images that have already placed failure more possible than success. Every human experience fears at a time or the other. However, while it is a natural occurrence, it is important to note that it's not spiritually natural for a child of God to fear because we are walking a path of an already won battle.

One of the reasons why we fear is because of uncertainty, in the scripture above, Elisha's servant was scared when he saw chariots of fire and weapons of war surrounding them on the hill, he has submitted to failure because he wasn't certain of how they will navigate the waters. Immediately, Elisha told him that if only he could see the armies on their side, he will quickly discard his fear because they are much more than those against them.

Our knowledge about our identity will help us to overcome fear in a time of storms, when we understand that greater is he that dwells in us than he that dwells in the world. Even death was crushed at his feet while mocking them publicly on the cross. There are absolutely no reasons for a child of the living God to fear because he lives a triumphant life. So, what do you know about your ally?, How much do you know that victory isn't what you fight for but it's what you live for? It's expected that you come boldly announcing your victory over that fear, and walking a life already given to you. DEFEAT YOUR FEAR!

THINK TANK: You're a slave to what you fear, defeat the fear through the knowledge of God's word.

PRAYER: Father, open my eyes to see you in all situations so that I'll live a life of victory in Jesus Name.
