DAILY DIVINE WORD 3RD FEBRUARY 2021

TOPIC:
PURIFY YOUR HEART.

TEXT:
Rom.12.2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]. (AMP)

Jas.1.14 But every person is tempted when he is drawn away, enticed and baited by his own evil desire (lust, passions). (AMP)

MIND is the source of all our demonstration in life, the way a man is, it's the product of his thoughts. As a matter of fact, whatever a man think of and then allow it to be pondered on, becomes his confession and then it started showing what the man does. He who is holy first becomes holy in the mind, he who is righteous also becomes righteous first in his heart before manifestation and so also, he who is immoral sexually has first becomes perverse in his mind.

It is important to to allow God then to transform our mind, this transformation will help in what comes to mind and then what stays for meditation in our minds. As discussed earlier, everything comes from the mind, even temptation too. So, every child of God that wants to please God by doing his will and walking in his ways must first deal with his mind.

JESUS in John 17:17 explained how God's word is the truth and the word is capable of purifying the water. The word of God is like a water that washes the mind as far as we concentrate upon it. It helps giving strength against the powerful desire of the mind. The word of God has the power of breaking chains in the mind as far as we'll stick and live in God's word.

THINK TANK:
The mind must cooperate with God's word!

FATHER HELP ME STICK WITH YOUR WORD FOR EVER  IN JESUS NAME.
