DAILY DIVINE WORD 19TH FEBRUARY 2020

TOPIC: BE WATCHFUL
TEXT: Matthew 25:13
[13]Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh
                  source: daily prayer.

There's always a sharp debate between fact and truth, while fact might be shaken, truth needs no validation to be itself. God's word is the truth and either the world admit to the word or not, it doesn't devalue or diminish the truth in God's word. Jesus gave us His words before he left the earth, he promised he's coming back to harvest the saints, the truth is that HE'S COMING BACK.

Understanding that every God's words are certain will give us a desire to look out for the fulfillment of the word and that's what the Holy Spirit is dishing out from the above text. Jesus advised and warned that we should watch because the timing of Jesus' return has yet or will not be revealed, it will definitely come suddenly. However, if anyone will become watchful, though the coming will be sudden a watchful man will not be caught unaware.

Jesus is coming back, there's no iota of doubt as regards that, we have a lot to be prepared for. We've got to be consciously alert, we need to arise and become a watch night, we need to stand at the window with our eyes opened and watch the signs, the deeds and getting ready for his return. Our Master has given us his words, and he's not going to repent of those words, it's our duty to watch out so that we'll not be ashamed at his return. Are you ready if He comes now?

THINK TANK: Even if He doesn't come now, what if he takes you away?
PRAYER: Father, please help me to be watchful so that I will not be ashamed at your return in Jesus' Name.

IT'S ALREADY PREPARED

DAILY DIVINE WORD  (A Sunset Devotional) 26th July, 2025 THEME : It's Prepared Already. SCRIPTURAL REFERENCE : Mark 14: 12-15: 12 - Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, "Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?" 13 - And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, "Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him. 14 - Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, "The Teacher says, "Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?"' 15 - Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us." If a man knows what has been prepared for him and when exactly it will come to him, maybe we would worry less, maybe we won't even be anxious over anything as the scripture advised us. But, the mystery about life and about walking with...

DAILY DIVINE WORD 5TH MAY 2021

Wednesday, 5th May 2021 TOPIC : ACCESS TO THE HILL TEXT : Ps.24.3-5: 3. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. RECENTLY there was a post by someone on social media who claimed that at the RCCG Redemption Camp, she left her reading glass on the altar believing God for miracles, and according to her she came back the following day to pick up her glasses and she will never believe anything again. This is a sad reality, that our young minds are looking for God's hands when we should focus on God's face. However, everyone desire to stand at the hills of God, everyone wants to stand at his Holy place because they understand that is where his blessings reside. But the question that has been asked for ages is "Who shall ...

DAILY DIVINE WORD 26TH JANUARY 2021

TOPIC: GUARD YOUR FREEDOM. TEXT:  1Cor.8.9 - But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. 1Cor.8.10 - For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; 1Cor.8.11 - And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? 1Cor.8.12 - But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. 1Cor.8.13 - Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend. TRUTHFULLY  Christ came to deliver freedom to us, Christ's freedom is also freedom indeed because He says "if the son shall set you free, you shall be free indeed." He has given us freedom from traditions, laws, old practices, superstitions, tales, and the likes. So we have liberty in J...
