TOPIC: SUBMISSIVE LOVE

TEXT: Ephesians 5:25

25.Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it.

God is an almighty God who has the power to make alive and to kill, he needs no validation to be God, he's so powerful that he does things the way it pleases him, yet, when he wants to show is love for mankind, he submitted himself to be killed for the church before He could gain and called the church His own.

In the text above, we saw how Jesus GAVE HIMSELF UP FOR THE CHURCH, in other words, because of the love he has for us, He gave up himself for us in one the most ridiculous way. Jesus would go any length to show his love, he was and still ready to pour us his love on us.

Nothing can be compare to this manner of love. This is the height of God's love; knowing that He who has power over your life decided to show how much love He has for you by giving up HIMSELF in death for you. Think about this love and be assured that ONLY HIM CAN LOVE YOU THIS MUCH.

PRAYER: Father, thank you for giving yourself for me for sake of your love.
