TOPIC: Control Your Words

TEXT: Matthew 12:35-37

[35]A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

[36]But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

[37]For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

The most important part of a man's life is his words. Every man is a product of words, so your words are responsible for what you are now. Words that come out of you are from the abundance of your heart. Jesus said we will be judged for every careless word that proceeds out of our mouth.

It has become a norm for even the believers to playfully use the same slangs used by the children of this world, we don't really care. All we wanted is to be like a model. By your words, you will be acquitted or condemned. Consecrate your Heart through the words of God so that your words will not only be holy but spirit-filled to build your life and build the lives of others.

PRAYER: Father, let my words be subjected to your words in Jesus Christ Name.
