TOPIC: EVIDENCE OF FAITH.

TEXT:
Jas.2.26 The very moment you separate body and spirit, you end up with a corpse. Separate faith and works and you get the same thing: a corpse. (MSB)

Faith is the only way we can connect to God, the scriptures say everyone that comes to God must believe that he is, the faith that makes us come before God is what enables us to accept his sovereignty. However, it seems as if most people that come to God return without getting their heart desires, many complaints about how they pray about certain things and it's not coming forth. The truth is, most people in this category have dropped their value for God and secure another means. Without faith, we can receive nothing from God. So how can we be sure that we have Faith?

The scripture above explains what makes faith works. As the Body becomes lifeless without spirit, so also is faith will be dead without work. Now, people think the scripture is talking about some efforts to make faith works, NO, it's beyond that! What the scripture is talking about is the desire to work in line with the profession of your Faith. You're a child of God and you believe God is your father, begin to live like God is your Father!

Put to work your faith, you're expecting God to show up in that situation and somehow you believe he's done it, begin to act in obedience as regards to your expectations, if God is going to bless the works of your hand, and you believe so much so, yet your hand has no works, you've got to match your faith with work. After, praying, what activates your faith is work. Get to work to align your faith with your belief in God.

REFLECTION: What show your faith is what you do with your faith.

PRAYER: Father, please help my faith work to bring your might into work in Jesus Name.

IT'S ALREADY PREPARED

DAILY DIVINE WORD  (A Sunset Devotional) 26th July, 2025 THEME : It's Prepared Already. SCRIPTURAL REFERENCE : Mark 14: 12-15: 12 - Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, "Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?" 13 - And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, "Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him. 14 - Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, "The Teacher says, "Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?"' 15 - Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us." If a man knows what has been prepared for him and when exactly it will come to him, maybe we would worry less, maybe we won't even be anxious over anything as the scripture advised us. But, the mystery about life and about walking with...

DAILY DIVINE WORD 5TH MAY 2021

Wednesday, 5th May 2021 TOPIC : ACCESS TO THE HILL TEXT : Ps.24.3-5: 3. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. RECENTLY there was a post by someone on social media who claimed that at the RCCG Redemption Camp, she left her reading glass on the altar believing God for miracles, and according to her she came back the following day to pick up her glasses and she will never believe anything again. This is a sad reality, that our young minds are looking for God's hands when we should focus on God's face. However, everyone desire to stand at the hills of God, everyone wants to stand at his Holy place because they understand that is where his blessings reside. But the question that has been asked for ages is "Who shall ...

TOPIC: GUARD YOUR FREEDOM. TEXT:  1Cor.8.9 - But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. 1Cor.8.10 - For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; 1Cor.8.11 - And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? 1Cor.8.12 - But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. 1Cor.8.13 - Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend. TRUTHFULLY  Christ came to deliver freedom to us, Christ's freedom is also freedom indeed because He says "if the son shall set you free, you shall be free indeed." He has given us freedom from traditions, laws, old practices, superstitions, tales, and the likes. So we have liberty in J...
