TOPIC: The Superiority of Light

TEXT:
John.1.5 And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it]. (AMP)

The world is filled with darkness, the heart of an average man too is filled with darkness, this might seems unlikely but the truth is darkness is easier to find than light. The simple reason is that wickedness is plotted and most times executed in darkness, so people prefer to stay in secret and make their plans. Every evil and wickedness have its source in darkness.

As evil as darkness is, the extent to which darkness can linger is determined by light. Once light steps out, darkness steps back. The scripture above explained the Superiority of Light, the moment light came out, darkness loses its power, not just that, but every effort by darkness to overpowered light becomes futile because it is never going to comprehend it.

Now, do you know that Jesus called you "THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD?" Do you know it will be an error for darkness to rule over you? Do you know it will be out of order for you to apportion darkness some glory? Do you know that you are meant to be controlling the world and not the world controlling you? Do you know that you're meant to be a terror for darkness? You're superior to the world! It's high time you understood your position and identity in Christ Jesus and live up to that responsibility. The Rule of Darkness over your life is over today in Jesus Name!

REFLECTION: You're the light of the world, let your light shine so bright.

PRAYER: Father, let the reign of darkness over my life be over in Jesus Name

IT'S ALREADY PREPARED

DAILY DIVINE WORD  (A Sunset Devotional) 26th July, 2025 THEME : It's Prepared Already. SCRIPTURAL REFERENCE : Mark 14: 12-15: 12 - Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, "Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?" 13 - And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, "Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him. 14 - Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, "The Teacher says, "Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?"' 15 - Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us." If a man knows what has been prepared for him and when exactly it will come to him, maybe we would worry less, maybe we won't even be anxious over anything as the scripture advised us. But, the mystery about life and about walking with...

DAILY DIVINE WORD 5TH MAY 2021

Wednesday, 5th May 2021 TOPIC : ACCESS TO THE HILL TEXT : Ps.24.3-5: 3. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. RECENTLY there was a post by someone on social media who claimed that at the RCCG Redemption Camp, she left her reading glass on the altar believing God for miracles, and according to her she came back the following day to pick up her glasses and she will never believe anything again. This is a sad reality, that our young minds are looking for God's hands when we should focus on God's face. However, everyone desire to stand at the hills of God, everyone wants to stand at his Holy place because they understand that is where his blessings reside. But the question that has been asked for ages is "Who shall ...

TOPIC: GUARD YOUR FREEDOM. TEXT:  1Cor.8.9 - But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. 1Cor.8.10 - For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; 1Cor.8.11 - And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? 1Cor.8.12 - But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. 1Cor.8.13 - Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend. TRUTHFULLY  Christ came to deliver freedom to us, Christ's freedom is also freedom indeed because He says "if the son shall set you free, you shall be free indeed." He has given us freedom from traditions, laws, old practices, superstitions, tales, and the likes. So we have liberty in J...
