JUDGE NOT YOUR PROGRESS BY OTHERS' PROGRESS!


"FOR MY THOUGHTS ARE NOT your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD." - Isaiah 55:8, NIV (Emphasis mine)


Last night, a precious daughter called, and said to me thus: "Daddy, I realised that I am the only one among your children, who is still giving you some headaches?" So I asked her, "How do you mean? Am I complaining...?" She said, no sir.

BUT she added thus: "DADDY, I just noticed the progress of others, who came around the same time with me to submit to you as your disciples - now they are doctors, engineers, lecturers etc. And I'm here struggling for further studies. I am determined this 2021 to make YOU proud...." As she started mentioning names of the ones God has brought under my watch, I cut her short.

Why am I sharing this? I sense there are people, like this beloved daughter, who are under some pressures due to the challenges they are facing now, and it looks as if they are WASTING away.

I have been there, when after my ND, I was on a standstill for close to four years... Every move I made was aborted- NOTHING was working! But God came and told me it is my WAITING period and He said that, what I should be doing was to "GATHER BREAD" (get loaded with the Word).

Thereafter, Baba told me that HE would put the 'food' of MANY SOULS in my mouth - and at my words, they will live. HE also reminded me that, there's speed with Him and that He will give me SPEED in life. I found those words to be true, in life and ministry. God KNOWS what HE is doing with my life, when I don't even know a hint of it.

Beloved, I like to remind YOU that, the dealings of GOD on your life is not the same with others -just as GOD's plans for individuals vary. Please, keep in mind also that, GOD's thoughts are NOT our thoughts, and HIS WAYS are never our ways (Isa. 55:8). You cannot fathom out the workings and operations of GOD. Just believingly follow.

Moreover, it is foolishness to compare yourself with others. YOU could take challenge from the people around. But learn to concentrate on His dealings, over your life. It shall be well with you! Be encouraged! There is SPEED with GOD - and He will give YOU speed - in life and in ministry.
