DAILY DIVINE WORD 3RD JANUARY 2021

TOPIC: To God's Name
TEXT: Ps.115.1 - Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.


How often do we actually think that our labour, smartness, commitment, intelligence and hard work are responsible for the beautiful resuk6we have had? Sometimes, before we acknowledge God, we tends to ascribe glory to ourselves, whereas everything we've got comes from above.

The Psalmist says God's Name should get all the glory, His Name is a strong tower, His love and faithfulness through His Name has brought us this far. Don't be tempted to think that your hard work had earned you these amazing results but God has done it all.

Today is already the third day in this year, be determined to always give God all glory over every circumstances in your life. Consider his love, faithfulness. Show that you are not ignorant of His works over your life.
THINK TANK: God had made your work to prosper, he deserves the glory!

PRAYER: FATHER, not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name be all the glory!
