DAILY DIVINE WORD 17TH JANUARY 2021

TOPIC:
DO YOU LOVE GOD?

TEXT:
1John.5.3 The proof that we love God comes when we keep his commandments and they are not at all troublesome. (MSB)

ASKING an average man who claims to be a Christian or probably who goes to church of he loves the Lord, the obvious answer one would get is a resounding YES! Sometimes, we say things that are deep without actually being serious about them, probably because we do not have a full understanding. Jesus asked Peter same question and he kept on give him a "yes" until Peter realized that it's deeper than just words, it's action!

THERE'S a proof of love, and it's by the proof it becomes obvious that there's love in a relationship. God showed his love over us by gifting us his child and that's the proof of his love. The scripture above says the proof that we love God comes from obedience to him. In other words, we know you love the Lord when we see your obedience to his will!

CHECK it now, do you actually love God? Are you sure you're obedient to him? You may ask, what is God's commandments? There are his commandments; 1. Love the Lord with the whole of your heart and 2. Love your brother as yourself. We know you love the Lord when you obey this. You can't love if you live in unforgivingness, how can you claim to love the Lord when you bittered even to yourself? God is asking you today again DO YOU LOVE GOD?

THINK TANK:
If you love God, the proof will clear your conscience!

PRAYER:
FATHER, TEACH ME TO LOVE YOU IN JESUS NAME.

IT'S ALREADY PREPARED

DAILY DIVINE WORD  (A Sunset Devotional) 26th July, 2025 THEME : It's Prepared Already. SCRIPTURAL REFERENCE : Mark 14: 12-15: 12 - Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, "Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?" 13 - And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, "Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him. 14 - Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, "The Teacher says, "Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?"' 15 - Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us." If a man knows what has been prepared for him and when exactly it will come to him, maybe we would worry less, maybe we won't even be anxious over anything as the scripture advised us. But, the mystery about life and about walking with...

DAILY DIVINE WORD 5TH MAY 2021

Wednesday, 5th May 2021 TOPIC : ACCESS TO THE HILL TEXT : Ps.24.3-5: 3. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. RECENTLY there was a post by someone on social media who claimed that at the RCCG Redemption Camp, she left her reading glass on the altar believing God for miracles, and according to her she came back the following day to pick up her glasses and she will never believe anything again. This is a sad reality, that our young minds are looking for God's hands when we should focus on God's face. However, everyone desire to stand at the hills of God, everyone wants to stand at his Holy place because they understand that is where his blessings reside. But the question that has been asked for ages is "Who shall ...

TOPIC: GUARD YOUR FREEDOM. TEXT:  1Cor.8.9 - But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. 1Cor.8.10 - For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; 1Cor.8.11 - And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? 1Cor.8.12 - But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. 1Cor.8.13 - Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend. TRUTHFULLY  Christ came to deliver freedom to us, Christ's freedom is also freedom indeed because He says "if the son shall set you free, you shall be free indeed." He has given us freedom from traditions, laws, old practices, superstitions, tales, and the likes. So we have liberty in J...
