WHY DOUBTS?

John 14:5
[5]Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

Doubt is a natural occurrence that shows how much we really want to see things happen through a way that we can vividly see and naturally acknowledge. When things are not going through a natural way and a set standard procedure, doubts will quickly jumped in and we will definitely might start to ask questions or re-strategize. It is naturally okay but spiritually? It is not!

It's possible to be with Christ and yet not grown to a level where we will believe God hook line and sinker. Thomas has been with the master for couple of years, yet, when Jesus told them about his plans for them, Thomas didn't just doubted but he boldly confess that he needs a thoroughly proven answer. He said, he does not even know when Christ was going, how will they Know the way? Meanwhile, Jesus before this time has severally declare himself as the way to the Father but that doesn't agree with Thomas' standard.

Our walk with God depends totally on Faith, Faith and Faith. And Faith contradict every form of natural phenomenas, God wants us to depend on him and trust him totally. Most times if not all the times, God's instructions are foolishness to the natural man, it always contradict every human reasoning and standard but we should understand already that God's word is Ye and Amen! Just believe him and take the step. If doubts want to step in, confess that "I might not know where you are taking me to, but I believe your judgement and process, I'll follow through." His ways are mysterious, he'll lead you through!

Nugget: Your responsibility is to just trust Him!

PRAYER: Father, please help my believe system in Jesus Name.

IT'S ALREADY PREPARED

DAILY DIVINE WORD  (A Sunset Devotional) 26th July, 2025 THEME : It's Prepared Already. SCRIPTURAL REFERENCE : Mark 14: 12-15: 12 - Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, "Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?" 13 - And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, "Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him. 14 - Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, "The Teacher says, "Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?"' 15 - Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us." If a man knows what has been prepared for him and when exactly it will come to him, maybe we would worry less, maybe we won't even be anxious over anything as the scripture advised us. But, the mystery about life and about walking with...

DAILY DIVINE WORD 5TH MAY 2021

Wednesday, 5th May 2021 TOPIC : ACCESS TO THE HILL TEXT : Ps.24.3-5: 3. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. RECENTLY there was a post by someone on social media who claimed that at the RCCG Redemption Camp, she left her reading glass on the altar believing God for miracles, and according to her she came back the following day to pick up her glasses and she will never believe anything again. This is a sad reality, that our young minds are looking for God's hands when we should focus on God's face. However, everyone desire to stand at the hills of God, everyone wants to stand at his Holy place because they understand that is where his blessings reside. But the question that has been asked for ages is "Who shall ...

DAILY DIVINE WORD 26TH JANUARY 2021

TOPIC: GUARD YOUR FREEDOM. TEXT:  1Cor.8.9 - But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. 1Cor.8.10 - For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; 1Cor.8.11 - And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? 1Cor.8.12 - But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. 1Cor.8.13 - Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend. TRUTHFULLY  Christ came to deliver freedom to us, Christ's freedom is also freedom indeed because He says "if the son shall set you free, you shall be free indeed." He has given us freedom from traditions, laws, old practices, superstitions, tales, and the likes. So we have liberty in J...
